“Calm in a Box” is a box designed for use in either a school or home setting. The box contains mindfulness tools and practices that, with consistent use, can help with self-regulation of emotions. Some of the breath practices are calming, while others are energizing. Please give them all a try, as different practices may work for different emotions and situations.
Each Box contains:
- -A weighted heart for “belly breathing” and grounding.
- -A floating liquid timer
- -A 5-minute sand timer
- -8 breathing practice cards. Each card has a printed QR code which, when scanned with the camera on a smartphone, takes the user directly to a corresponding YouTube video of that breathing practice.
